Who am I?

A creative economist in the age of automation.

I live and work in Madrid for clients from all over the world. I have been an entrepreneur since I was 15 years old. I apply my technical, economic and financial knowledge to business models that I know very well; SMEs with B2C digital products and industrial companies with B2B technology projects.

I have always been linked to innovative projects, which are out of the ordinary and are made up of creative and a bit “crazy” people who end up changing the course of things. Explorers.

This non-linear path allows me to work on the financial strategy and economic management of completely innovative projects, where uncertainty calls for experience in many small battles.

Some more information of professional interest:
– I am a chartered economist and ROAC auditor. And a few other things.
– I have written several books on economics and finance, the last one in 2021.
– I am a lecturer at IEB in master and financial technology programmes. Before that, I set up my educational initiatives, always linked to finance and technology.
– Projects as an entrepreneur that I am particularly fond of; Uncommon Finance and FIRE Programme.
– For 10 years (2012-2021) I have written constantly in my blog Estratega Financiero, a pioneer and reference in alternative investments, personal finance and intangible economics. You can find hundreds of articles (“evergreen”).

All these years of technical work, research, investigation and entrepreneurship allow me to do 3 things for the clients I work with that are not very common in the age of automation:

Adhoc economic and financial handicraft

Experience in innovative business models

Financial Interlocutor with Stakeholders
